The CTM (Centre de Traitement Monétique)

Established in 2001 by virtue of a mutual agreement between SGBL and Banque Libano-Française, the Centre de Traitement Monétique (CTM) started its activities in January 2002.

CTM activities may be summarized as follows:

> issuance of debit cards (encoding, embossing, etc.);

> routing of transactions carried out on connected Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs);

> transaction clearing;

> technical management of the ATMs of the adherent banks’ ATMs;

> Points of Sale (POS) management;

> credit card management.

CTM is expected to become a reference transactional card processing center in Lebanon and in the region leaving adherent banks a free hand to manage the strategic and financial aspect of their credit cardrelated activities.
