How it works?
Depending on your location, your account type and the card you hold, a push notification is sent to your mobile phone regarding the “Offers & Privileges” of the nearest SGBL partner(s), whether a restaurant, your favorite boutique, free access to VIP lounges at airports, etc.
How to activate it?
The Geofencing feature is a user-selectable option that requires:
1. Location access and notifications permission to be allowed for our SGBL mobile app “in phone settings”
2. Geofencing preferences to be set “in SGBL mobile app settings”
1. How to allow Location access and notifications permission in phone settings?
Go to Settings > Privacy > Location services > SGBL > Always allow
Go to Settings > Notifications > SGBL > Allow notifications
Make sure the alerts are always turned on
Go to Settings > Apps > SGBL > Permissions > Location
Make sure that your location method is on high accuracy mode: Connections > Location > Location method > high accuracy
Go to Settings > Apps > SGBL > Notifications
Turn on notifications for SGBL app and the geofencing feature
Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Apps > SGBL > Permissions > Your location
Make sure that your location method is on high accuracy mode:
Security & Privacy > Location access > Location mode > high accuracy
Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Apps > SGBL > Notifications > Allow notification
Turn on notifications for SGBL app and the geofencing
2. How to set Geofencing preferences in SGBL mobile app?
By default, the geofencing function is enabled for all types of “Offers & Privileges”, but you can also choose to:
Disable all notifications
Enable notifications for specific types of “Offers & Privileges” (Airport Lounges, Hotels & Spas, Car Rental & Taxi, Shopping, Restaurants & Nightlife, Lifestyle)
Steps to follow:
Go to Main menu
Select “My Profile”
